Mary Bilingual Comprehensive High School – A Refuge of Hope
In the heart of Loum, a story of resilience is being written.
Born out of Cameroon’s socio-political crisis, Mary Bilingual Comprehensive High School (MBCHS) was founded in 2019 by Mr. Ngwana Constantine Tembong to provide a safe learning environment for children displaced from the North West and South West regions.
What began as a small initiative to help a handful of children has grown into a thriving community of over 1,050 students—each with a dream of rebuilding their future through education..

Mary Bilingual Comprehensive High School, we offer a rich blend of General, Technical, and Vocational Education designed to nurture both intellect and practical skill. Our bilingual system (English and French) ensures students are fully equipped to thrive in Cameroon’s diverse society and beyond. From science, arts, and commerce to technical fields like computer science, mechanical engineering, and home economics, every program is guided by dedicated teachers who combine discipline, innovation, and compassion.
